Rental Apartment Buildings in Vlaardingen, the Netherlands, 200 module units
Long-term rental housing, so-called start-up housing, which will be appreciated especially by young families, students and people facing difficult life circumstances. The Dutch government has decided to deal with the difficult conditions and the difficult situation of its own population in a very elegant and effective way. It has offered its people an imaginary helping hand through modular housing.
The entire project, which was implemented in the second quarter of 2023, comprises 4 two-storey balcony access apartment buildings supplied to the Dutch city of Vlaardingen.
- 200 modules in total
- 76 housing units of which:
- 28x 1+kitchenette with an area of 32.5 m2
- 48x 2+kitchenette with an area of 47.4 m2
Central air conditioning and recuperation help tenants to live in high comfort. The combination of painted trapezoidal sheet metal and wooden prisms for the facade cladding has once again managed to create a balanced harmony between design and budget.
Within the scope of interior furnishing, we have provided complete turnkey delivery of bathrooms and sanitary equipment at the customer's request. The kitchen units were supplied by the customer under their own responsibility. All buildings meet the required fire resistance requirements as well as all local authority rules and standards in terms of construction and equipment, which were very carefully communicated during the preparation phase.
