At the beginning of this year, we significantly invested in the automation of the production of Moravia Containers modules. Laser CNC technology with 4 kW power has been helping us since January 2022 with the processing of metal parts for frames, which then form the supporting structure of all types of our containers and modular constructions. Modern fibre systems offer versatile, flexible, accurate and fast firing of a wide range of material type and thickness. The machine maximizes its operability thanks to the integrated automatic pendulum table, which allows simultaneous loading / unloading and at the same time cutting on the second table, where the table change takes only 35 seconds.

Automatically changed tools and engraving also increase productivity and performance. This new technology enabling sheet metal cutting with oxygen or nitrogen and automatic loading, unloading of material from the compact tower with 8 magazines and automatic storage of finished parts opens up new opportunities not only in the production process, such as the ability to increase the production capacity and performance, but also helps optimize human resources.

This is the first investment in a series of planned events in automation and robotics in the production of steel structures. We see the greatest benefit for our customers and for our entire Moravia Containers team in the improved continuity of the production of metal parts and thus the possible higher production capacity. Our new fibre laser enables continuous operation while following the correct 24/7/365 production process.
