"Skid School" in the Swiss town of Sennwald, 24 modules
This perfectly fine-tuned technical solution for the driving center provides high comfort to students and staff alike.
Fire protection, high thermal insulation, outdoor rainwater gutters and downpipes, walk-on terrace with a solar and wind screen...
...made from the same wooden boards that are used for the terrace's flooring, aluminium entrance door, LED panel ceiling lights with a DALI dimmer, large-format French plastic windows fitted with safety glass and lockable Tilt First handles, including electric outdoor blinds, rich bathroom fittings with a range of additional perks for a fee, with floor and wall tiles, barrier-free sanitary facilities, internal staircase with a varnished handrail featuring a continuous double-sided stainless steel handle.
A fire protection period of up to 30 minutes is provided by Fermacell boards that line the walls and ceilings. The alpine locality motivated the customer to select extreme insulation with a thermal conductivity coefficient for the floor, outer wall and ceiling of U < 0,15 [W/m2K], thanks to which the school has guaranteed economical operation. The luxury furnishing and equipment of the reception and the sanitary facilities, which includes in addition to the standard types of fittings and furnishings, also, for example, food and drink dispensers or a baking oven, which all meet the requirements of even the most demanding students or staff.
All this and much more, hidden behind the standard zinc-coated trapezial metal sheet, makes the driving centre into an above-standard, well-thought-out modular building and we wish its users many pleasant, memorable moments during its use.
